Albatross Resort Back to Egypt Page
The Albatross Palace Resort -- one of the 12 pools in 3 different resorts we could swim in
Kids enjoyed the waterslides all week ..
Diving the Red Sea
The kids had a good time snorkeling and exploring the boat ..
More variety and color in the coral than any other place I"ve dove before ....
Didn't have an underwater camera unfortunately -- some fantastic coral and sealife as the Red Sea waters are so warm year round.
Safari to the Bedouin Village in the Desert
We got to ride just about everything during the full day safari (camels, donkeys, horses, quads, dune buggies), but the dune buggies (Spyders) were the most fun :-)
Bedouin woman making Arabic bread (Pita / Aieshe) for us in her oven.
Smoking the "sheesha" while taking in the belly dancing, snake charmer, and whirling dhervish show.
Traditional Egyptian dance called the "Whirling Dhervish", this dude spun around nonstop for like 20 minutes -- no idea how he didn't fall over from dizziness.
King Cobra snake charmer.
I got enlisted (on the right above) to help hold the Russian girl on my shoulders, then the big dude picked us all up and walked over broken glass on the ground.
